Introduction to Beekeeping Course Highlights
- Learn to open and reassemble a beehive
- Re-queen a honey colony
- Manage pests and diseases within a honey bee colony
- Discover the proper use of a bee smoker
- Acquire skills to remove a honey crop from a hive
Course Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will:
- Understand the best practices of caring for a beehive
- Learn how to maintain a healthy beehive
- Gain knowledge in extracting honey from a hive
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Consider our Certificate III in Beekeeping AHC31818 to further enhance your beekeeping journey and unlock new opportunities in this rewarding industry.
Transfers and Refunds
A refund or transfer is only possible if you apply at least 5 business days prior to the course commencing. A standard handling charge of 10% of the advertised course fee will be deducted from each refund. Requests for refunds or transfers made within five business days of the course start date will not be eligible.
