GRID CONNECT INSTALL FOR QUALIFIED ELECTRICIANS

Melbourne Polytechnic’s Grid Connect Install short course is designed to give qualified, licensed electricians the skills and knowledge necessary to safely plan, configure and install alternative power sources to the power grid.

GRID CONNECT DESIGN

Melbourne Polytechnic’s Grid Connect Design short course will provide you with the requisite skills and knowledge to plan and design solar energy systems that can be connected to the power grid.

STAND ALONE POWERSUPPLY SYSTEMS (SPS)

Participants will develop skills and knowledge in PV array sizing, battery sizing, ELV cable sizing and inverter sizing. This will allow the participant to design and install a standalone power system that suits the energy requirements for a specific application or client.

Charles Muscat

I have been delivery and developing solar on/off grid courses for over 10 years. I am actively involved with industry growth and technological evolution of solar installation and design, whether it be on-grid or off-grid.

As a teacher I always focus on the student experience in my courses and bring industry relevance into course delivery.

Outside the classroom I have industry partnerships which keep me current with the changes and progress of the industry. My industry ties keeps me interested and motivated to bring new ideas to the teaching/learning experience in my solar courses.
