The Conservation courses at Melbourne Polytechnic will help you to understand ecosystems, flora and fauna, biodiversity, soil erosion, revegetation and restoration. This knowledge can lead to career opportunities such as bush crew supervisor, catchment and land manager, environmental officer, landcare coordinator and park ranger.
You can expect a variety of field work and excursion opportunities as well as an occasional overnight camp as part of your studies, from weed mapping at Plenty Valley Parklands to a camp in the Grampians.
