Working in confined spaces can be dangerous if the correct procedures aren’t in place and the correct equipment is not used. If you need to work in or manage those working in tight spots, Melbourne Polytechnic’s nationally accredited Working in a Confined Space short course teaches you theory and practical skills to improve workplace safety.
The course consists of the following units of competency:
- MSAPMPER205C Enter Confined Space
- MSAPMPER200C Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit
- risk assessment
- hazard response
- atmospheric monitoring
- all legislative requirements
