This competency unit develops the skills and knowledge needed to provide basic first aid response in emergency life support, EAR and CPR until emergency assistance arrives.

This course will also assist you to administer and manage emergencies including:
- fractures and soft tissue
- bites and stings
- near drowning
- temperature related emergencies
The course is the benchmark standard that is suitable for anyone requiring a first aid certificate for the workplace, home, sport or recreational use. It is also the advised minimum requirement by workplace health and safety legislation for the workplace first aider.
The course consists of a 1-day practical program with an online assessment.
