Students require :- AS/NZS 3000:2007 Wiring Rules (Current version incorporating all amendments), AS/NZS 3008.1.1:2017 Electrical Installations – Selection of Cables (Current version incorporating all amendments), AS/NZS 3012:2010 Electrical Installations – Construction and Demolitions Sites (Current version incorporating all amendments), AS/NZS 3017:2007 Electrical installations – Verification guidelines (Current version incorporating all amendments), AS/NZS 4836:2011 Safe working on or near low-voltage electrical installations and equipment (Current version incorporating all amendments), Electrical Safety (Installations) Regulations 2009 incorporating 2010 amendments (download from ESV website). A silent, non-programmable SCIENTIFIC calculator (as you will be doing trigonometry [sine, co sine etc.] in your calculations.
