Melbourne Polytechnic's program will assist students with a disability and/or learning difficulties to develop skills to enjoy greater independence to participte in the community.

Participants will visit their own community, be a peer leader/guide for the group, showing key services/facilities that meet interest and personal needs and showcase in the role of local government. Participants’ skills will be enhanced to participant effectively in their local community as a citizen.
