This course can take applications through Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) or direct to Melbourne Polytechnic.

Apply Through VTAC

You must apply via VTAC if any of the following apply to you:

  • You are currently studying Year 12 (or equivalent)
  • You are applying to more than one institution for a course/s listed on VTAC
  • You have already lodged a VTAC application for 2023.

Apply Direct to Melbourne Polytechnic

You can apply direct to Melbourne Polytechnic if any of the following apply to you:

  • You are NOT currently studying Year 12 (or equivalent) in Australia
  • You intend to submit an application ONLY to Melbourne Polytechnic
  • Are a current Melbourne Polytechnic student

LOCAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Apply through VTAC or direct to Melbourne Polytechnic
  • VCE applicants selected by ATAR or interview/folio presentation
  • Non-VCE applicants selected by interview/folio presentation
  • Attend an interview. Interviews for Visual Arts courses run throughout the year.

INTERNATIONAL REQUIREMENTS


Academic: Australian Year 12 equivalency
English:Academic IELTS 6.0 overall, Pearson PTE Academic 50 overall, or Melbourne Polytechnic recognised equivalency.
Other: Applicants are required to have a demonstrated interest in the visual arts field.
