Alan Nguyen has been active in creating film, television and multimedia works for several years. In 2013 he wrote and directed science-fiction short film Rebirthed a Firebird.
In 2011, Alan worked on live cinema/theatre work Thrashing Without Looking (that toured nationally and was nominated for a Green Room Award) and Talon Salon (that has been presented at festivals in Melbourne, Canberra and Darwin). In 2007, he wrote and directed Noise Idol which aired on ABC television.
Alan completed a Master of Digital Design in 2002. He is currently completing his doctorate at Griffith University.
