Seppelts Great Western Snipper takes out pruning crown at BAHCO Australian Pruning competition

This year's BAHCO Individual Event (industry section) was won by Jeff Elliot from the Seppelts Great Western Vineyard. This is the third time Jeff has won the individual event, having previously taken the title in 2007 and 2010. Jeff walks away with a brand new BAHCO 9320 Electric Secateur (valued at approximately $2600 (rrp)) as first prize. In second place was Bob Stapley from the Ararat region followed by Mathew Bayley.

The student section of the Individual Event was won by Mark Nicholson (from NMIT) followed by Marty Hoffman (NMIT) and Philip Choe (NMIT).

The leading individual amateur was Paul Williams.

Teams Event

The Hoogies of Yarra Glen Teams Event was won by the NMIT Eden Park Staff Team with the 'Seppelts Snippers' in second place followed by the team from Taltarni in third place.
