Dobe Newton (Advanced Diploma of Music Businness, Certificate IV in Music Business) was MC and show co-ordinator and Greg Arnold (who lectures in the Bachelor of Australian Popular Music at NMIT) performed at the Taste of Australia showcase.

The show was a 'full house' success at the legendary Bluebird cafe and also featured Australian country stars Troy Cassar-Daley and Sara Storer.
