About the role

NMIT is seeking to appoint an innovative, qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Teacher - Sports Development.You will be a hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge.

Your primary objectives will be:
 
Teach specific subjects in the Diploma of Sport Development within the Commerce Department and assist in the planning and development of teaching programs.
 

About You

The successful applicant will be a hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with:
 
  • An appropriate post secondary qualification relevant in both content and academic level and industry experience in the Sports field. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) is mandatory.
  • Ability to provide quality and innovative teaching and learning practice, which respond to diverse student learning needs including gender and cultural influences, and the needs of disadvantaged groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team in the development and implementation of subject plans.
  • Demonstrated links and networks with key stakeholders to plan for and build growth.

A Working With Children Check will be required for this position.
 

Salary

The salary will be in the range of $50,856 - $81,487 (T1.1 - T5)
