About the role:

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Project Officer to work in our deafConnectED Department.
Your primary objectives will be:
  • To develop and implement specific projects, innovative research or professional development for deafConnectEd as identified in the HESG core grant relating to the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students in VET.
  • To conduct research to identify service gaps and make appropriate recommendations as required.

About You:

  • An appropriate post secondary qualification including the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and experience in administering special projects.
  • Demonstrated skills in project planning, development, delivery and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated networking, communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and to work collaboratively with VET teaching and disability support personnel across Victoria.

The salary will be in the range of $54,245 - $56,737 (AO6.1 – AO6.3) per annum pro-rata plus employer superannuation contribution.


Fixed Term Contract until 31 December 2015, Part- Time 22.8 hours per week
