About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to appoint qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Pathology Teacher. You will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with excellent subject knowledge.
Your primary objectives will be:
• Develop, teach, deliver, assess and evaluate units in the Certificate III & IV in Pathology.
• Ensure all aspects of program development, delivery, assessment and record management meet compliance requirements.

The successful applicant will have:
Key Technical Competencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Capacity to teach units within the qualifications.
• Capacity to liaise with industry and organize the practical placement component of the Certificate III and IV in Pathology.
QualificationLicenses and Experience
 The Certificate IV in Pathology, recent industry experience in a pathology collection centre and the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) are essential. The Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or an equivalent course of teaching training is preferred.
A Working With Children Check will be required for this position.

The salary will be $50,856 - $81,487 (T1 – T5) per annum, (pro rata for part time) plus superannuation contribution.
