About the Role
We are very excited to announce that Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative individual to fill the position of Northern AMEP Child Care Placement Service Coordinator.
Your primary objectives will be to:
Plan, implement, maintain and evaluate the effective provision of culturally sensitive and appropriate services for childcare in the Department of Education and Training's Northern Melbourne AMEP Region.
Coordinate the placement, delivery and evaluation of child care placements ensuring compliance with the contract and the budget (including supporting the development of new services for use by Northern AMEP clients).
Develop, manage and maintain networks, systems, procedures and support mechanisms for the placement of children of AMEP clients in childcare in the Northern Melbourne AMEP region and review and modify these to match policy and compliance as required.
The successful applicant will possess the following:
Key Technical Competencies
An approved qualification and demonstrated experience in childcare provision, government policy and cultural issues in relation to childcare in Victoria.
Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with and provide leadership to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage and evaluate the AMEP Business Model and Melbourne Polytechnic as Lead Agent to ensure a strategic, effective, accountable and compliant Northern Melbourne Region AMEP childcare placement service which maintains strong community links.
Qualification, Licenses and Experience
A Working with Children Check and a National Police Check are required for this position.

The salary will be in the range of $72,797 to $75,970 (AO9.1 - AO9.3) per annum plus employer superannuation contributions.
