About the role

NMIT is seeking to appoint an innovative, qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Finance Systems Officer. You will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with excellent subject knowledge.
Your primary objective will be:
Ensure the effective development, implementation and maintenance of Finance One, the Institute’s finance and budgeting system, and the training of its end users.

About You

The successful applicant will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with:

  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of financial systems together with an excellent knowledge of computer based financial systems. This may be demonstrated by appropriate post-secondary qualifications together with significant work experience or several years of experience working in a similar role which included specific staff training.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyse current or potential problems in a computerised financial system.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify training needs and to deliver appropriate training to stakeholders.
  • Well developed organisational skills together with commitment to continuous improvement.

The salary will be in the range of  $72,797 - $75,970 (AO9.1 – AO9.3)per annum
