About the role:

A great opportunity exists for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Events and Marketing Officer.  Joining our dynamic Marketing team you will play an integral role in delivering event functions. The position purpose will be:

Plan, support and run events for Melbourne Polytechnic.

About you:

The successful applicant must have the following:

Key Technical Competencies

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning and management of events.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in promoting a positive image of a brand.

  • Demonstrated ability to recommend, order and manage corporate merchandise.

  • Demonstrated ability to be well organised, work independently and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated excellence in oral, written and interpersonal skills.

Qualification, Licenses and Experience

  • A relevant qualification, or appropriate experience, with a marketing or events focus.

  • Proven event experience including demonstrated planning, implementing and reporting experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing communications plans for events.

The salary will be in the range of $59,620 and $62,156 (AO7.1 - AO7.3) per annum plus superannuation.
