About the Role

We are very excited to announce that Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative and qualified individual to fill the Educational Technology Administrator position.

Your primary objectives will be:

Provide high level technical and administrative support for the institutional Educational Technology Systems to a variety of stakeholders across Melbourne Polytechnic’s VET and Higher Education teaching communities to ensure efficient workflow and delivery of prompt, quality service.

About You:

The successful applicant will possess the following:

Key Technical Competencies:

  • Demonstrable advanced expertise in the management of educational technology systems, including a comprehensive understanding of the system roles and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated advanced technical knowledge and high-level proficiency with multimedia production, screen-casting, pod-casting and highly developed understanding of various scripting technologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge understanding of accessibility issues, usability and clean UI deployment.

Qualification, Licenses and Experience

  • Appropriate qualifications in educational technology/instructional design plus at least 5 years’ experience in the development and implementation of on-line learning technologies for engagement, and the creation of resources and material. Alternatively demonstrated knowledge and application in these areas obtained through extensive experience in a tertiary education environment.

The salary will be in the range of $72,797 to $75,970 (AO9.1 - AO9.3) per annum plus superannuation.
