About the Role
We are very excited to announce that Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to appoint two experienced, innovative and qualified individuals to fill the positions of Directors: - Banyule Nillumbik Tech School and Whittlesea Tech School.
Your primary objectives will be to:
Lead the development and establishment of a cutting-edge centre of educational excellence and innovation in Melbourne’s North. You will be responsible for the day to day operations and the future growth of the Tech School through ensuring the highest quality in programs and stakeholder relationships is achieved.
About You
The successful applicant will possess the following:
Key Selection Criteria
- A degree or postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field with relevant management experience at a senior level.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team to deliver positive outcomes and build effective relationships with students, secondary schools, post-secondary educational providers, industry and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to implement STEAM and inquiry based education programs and a demonstrated commitment to remaining abreast of current developments and innovation in the field.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as an effective member of a team with well-developed leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, including high level management, analytical and problem solving skills.

Remuneration
Executive Remuneration will be $120,000 - $130,000 per annum inclusive of superannuation.
Tenure
Executive Contract (3 years), Full-Time 38 hours per week
