About the Role

We are very excited to announce that Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative and qualified individual to fill the position of Director, Educational Quality

Your primary objectives will be:

  • To support the Director, Centre for Learning & Teaching to strategically lead and manage the higher education staff, programs, activities and resources of the Student Experience & Educational Enhancement pillar;
  • To provide specialist quality support and advice to organizational areas and assist in identifying, analyzing and managing quality obligations related to academic endeavor in order for Melbourne Polytechnic to meet its Higher Education and VET quality standard obligations and to facilitate the delivery of quality outcomes for students.

About You

The successful applicant will possess the following:

Key Technical Competencies

  • PhD in a relevant field, or substantial progress towards the completion of a PhD, or PhD equivalence demonstrated by clear and credible evidence such as scholarly publication or strategic leadership with systemic impact, or both.
  • Evidence of strategic academic leadership and expertise in all areas of online and campus-based learning and teaching particularly assessment design and innovation, evidence of learning, teaching development, and online learning.
  • Evidence of experience in providing effective and practical advice in relation to all matters pertaining to enhancing assessment, evaluation and curriculum design and development.

Qualifications, Licenses and Experience

  • PhD in a relevant field, or substantial progress towards the completion of a PhD, or PhD equivalence demonstrated by clear and credible evidence such as scholarly publication or strategic leadership with systemic impact, or both.

Salary

The salary will be in the range of $130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per annum inclusive of superannuation.

Tenure

Ongoing, Full- Time 38 hours per week
