About the role

NMIT is seeking to appoint an innovative, qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Director Corporate Development and Finance. You will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with excellent subject knowledge.

Your primary objectives will be:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Corporate Development and Finance Division.
  • Review the current financial and management accounting structure to ensure the needs of the Board and NMIT are met.

About you

The successful applicant will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with:

Appropriate tertiary qualifications preferably to post graduate level and an appropriate financial accreditation such as CPA together with significant relevant senior level experience, including full CFO skill set and experience in audit and risk management.
Demonstrated capacity to lead the development of significant plans on a range of issues and to implement and fulfill them.
Highly effective people management and leadership skills including the ability to inspire and galvanize a large number of staff in the pursuit of established goals and objectives.
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex issues and to find effective solutions to difficult problems.

This is a TAFE Executive Contract ending 31 December 2018, full- time position (38 hours per week)


The remuneration package is $202,016 per annum inclusive of superannuation
