Our partnerships with industry

Our partnerships with local industry and organisations set the ball rolling on exciting and innovative projects.

Melbourne Polytechnic’s excellent performance in teaching and learning is far-reaching, with the successful delivery of offshore VET programs since 1995. We are committed to developing our training all over the world with the help of new international partnerships.

Melbourne Polytechnic maintains a sophisticated international footprint, partnering with governments, colleges, organisations and other training institutes.

Abroad, we get to deliver technical and workplace training, from English language competency, to welding for students in such countries as South Korea, Indonesia and Mongolia.

We also deliver high-profile projects, training parliamentary support staff in Myanmar, and implementing VET development programs with the federal education department in Pakistan.

In 2016, together with Minjiang University in China, we established Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic. With its first intake of students having recently graduated in 2020, this branch currently trains around 2000 students. Our foundations here are expected to grow and flourish in the coming years.

Our commitment to international partnerships:

  • Deliver training at all levels and to all manner of students throughout the region and beyond.
  • Deploy innovation and development to a variety of partners and institutions.
  • Support pathways for students abroad to continue their education in Australia.
