The 21st century has seen our workforce transform through automation, globalization and flexible working environments.
Automation replaces many jobs previously performed by humans, a large number of our manufacturing industries have or will move overseas and foreign workers are able to perform a number of Australia’s jobs remotely. To compete in this environment our students will need to embrace the 21st century skill of innovation.
In this short presentation, Professor Robin Batterham and Professor Adrian Cheok discuss and explain the concept of innovation and its relevance to the 21st Century workforce. Watch the video while completing the embedded exercises on innovation.
