Melbourne Polytechnic has been selected by Energise Oz to participate in the all NEW Managing Apprentice Progression (MAP) trial program for a select number of local apprentices.
Want to get your electrical apprenticeship completed at your pace?
Apprentices who qia;ify for MAP get the opportunity to progress via industry-approved training and at their own pace.
You can count on:
- individualised learning – progress through your training at your own pace. Once you meet on the job and off the job benchmarks, and display your ‘competence’, you will progress to the next phase.
- blended e-learning – stay engaged with a range of interactive in-class activities, which will support your progression.
- industry mentoring – a personal support service to guide you through your training with equal consideration around personal circumstances which contribute to completion.
- job matching register – removing the hassle of finding an apprenticeship work placement. Similarly if you already have an employer, link them with the MAP program as they will also benefit from the program.
Good for apprentices and good for industry.
To be considered for a placement, you must successfully complete the Readiness Assessment via Energise Oz (designed to assess your literacy, numeracy and mathematical level).
Applicants can sit the Readiness Assessment and find out their ability to succeed in an electrical apprenticeship – click on the link for more information www.energiseoz.com.au/register.
