A career in the creative industries begins with a visual arts qualification from Melbourne Polytechnic. You can undertake a Certificate III, a Diploma or an Advanced Diploma in a specialised area of your choice. Your teachers will be experienced industry professionals, artists and freelancers.

As a graduate you will be ready to launch a successful professional career in the arts. You will be highly sought after by art and design industry employers, the higher education sector and commercial galleries.

Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design
Our Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design is a two year, full-time dynamic course that provides a pathway from the Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design and is delivered over three days a week. The course focuses on further developing key hand-working skills learnt in the Diploma and provides tuition in advanced jewellery-making techniques, and introduces high-level technical jewellery-making skills to promote individual attainment. The course culminates in a graduate exhibition where students showcase their talent and jewellery designs to industry specialists, peers, family and friends.
