Assessment MethodsAssessment consists of classroom testing, assignments, presentations, group work, case studies and industry practicum.
MaterialsYou will be required to purchase textbooks. A book list and other required materials will be provided by teaching department at enrolment or class induction.
You are expected to have access to a computer. Computers are available in Melbourne Polytechnic’s computer labs and library if you do not have a computer at home.
Entrance RequirementsThere are no prerequisites for this course. You must be able to demonstrate that you’re capable of completing the course at the relevant competency levels in the training documents. You can seek Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) where your work experience or qualifications of an advanced and related nature have been undertaken. RPL is individually assessed based on evidence submitted by the student to the teaching department. Applications for RPL will be assessed by relevant Melbourne Polytechnic trainers, academics and where appropriate, industry experts.
Students may be eligible for Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.
This qualification aligns with the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) level 4.
