We teach you core principles and techniques needed to start your career in interior design. Learn how to research and use CAD design, analyse and apply colour, visual design practice and media techniques, all taught by our qualified and experienced design teachers.

You will be assessed throughout the course by completing conceptual and real-life projects in a simulated workplace environment, assignments, written and oral questioning.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
You can seek RPL where your work or qualifications of an advanced and related nature have been undertaken. Academic Credit is granted on a case-by-case basis, according to our Academic Credit policy and associated procedures. Applications for Academic Credit will be assessed by relevant Melbourne Polytechnic academics and where appropriate, industry experts.

Entrance RequirementsStudents should have:
- satisfactorily completed VCE Year 12, or if mature age, give evidence of ability to meet the demands of the course
