Assessment Methods

Units are assessed in a variety of ways including tests, practical exercises, case studies, demonstrations, observation or assignments.

Materials

Materials and book lists are provided at the start of the course. Students will be required to purchase textbooks and notes. Book lists will be available upon enrolment.

Entrance Requirements

Year 12 and/or industry experience. Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology or equivalent. This course is offered as a combined qualification with the Certificate IV in Digital Media Technologies only. Interview on entry. Pathways to further study

Students completing the qualification Certificate IV in Digital and Interactive Games are eligible for entry into the Diploma of Digital and Interactive Games. This stream may also provide for progression into several other Diploma qualifications including the Diploma of Digital and Media Technologies.
