Assessment for this course is competency based. Competence is assessed using a variety of methods including observation, demonstration, written and oral questioning, and projects.

Entrance Requirements

You must be employed and formally registered as an Apprentice with an Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP). Melbourne Polytechnic receives notification directly from the ANP of your request to commence training. To find the ANP closest to you, click here.

After successfully completing this course you will be able to upgrade your qualifications by enrolling in the Certificate IV in Building and Construction. Ask us about other pathways to further vocational training or higher education from this qualification.
