Study

Bring your laptop and notes to the double-storey Preston campus library and catch up on your reading. If you prefer to work outside, there’s plenty of room on our spacious campus oval to lay out a picnic rug and study in the sun.

Relax

At lunchtime you can swing by our campus café. Eat in the tree-lined courtyard or indoors in the break room. If you’d prefer to bring your lunch from home, use the cafeteria microwaves and sit with friends.

You can also work-out on campus at our onsite Fitness Centre. Our A Space Gallery showcases exciting student exhibitions from our creative students.

Explore

Be sure to thoroughly explore Preston, one of the cultural hubs of Melbourne’s North. Take a five-minute walk to Preston Market, lined with hip cafes and delightful delis. Supermarkets are in close reach, and High Street has cafes, bakeries and a wide range of diverse and interesting speciality stores.

Access support when you need it

Our counselling service is free and by appointment. If you’re feeling concerned about your homework, feeling stressed, or even worried about an issue at home, come in and make an appointment to chat to someone.

If you’re an international student, make the most of our friendly International Office on our Preston campus, which is here to help and support you during your time at Melbourne Polytechnic.
