Clive Enos

Clive has many talents, having worked as a five-star chef, a general manager for a national catering company and a teacher. He currently works as Melbourne Polytechnic’s Manager of Industry Community Engagement. Having started his chef’s apprenticeship in Scotland in the 1970s, Clive’s long career has given him a unique skill set, allowing him working with Melbourne Polytechnic’s large hospitality community and beyond

Clive has been working with Melbourne Polytechnic since January 2010. Stepping out of the kitchen, he puts his experience to good use, assessing chefs towards recognition of prior learning, and overseeing workplace training for Hospitality students. Clive is interested in merging Community & Industry with current training opportunities that can be developed to suit the needs of an ever-changing workforce. Clive acknowledges the importance of this In the current employment environment, where upskilling or moving into new roles due to economic decisions and changing work environments demands that individuals have to merge with this new facet that is expected in life today.  

Although highly qualified in the UK, Clive has gone through recognition of prior learning and study, to ensure that his qualifications are up to date by Australian standards.
