COVID-19 Visiting campus

Last updated: 18th November 2022

Requirements for visiting campus

To support the health of our community, we strongly recommend that visitors coming to campus:

Cleaning

At all Melbourne Polytechnic campuses, cleaning practices are conducted in accordance with the government’s COVID-19 cleaning guidelines.

This includes sanitiser stations at the entry to buildings, entrance of lifts, main stair landings and in office, laboratory, and teaching spaces.

Hygiene

We encourage everyone to practise good cough and hand hygiene when on campus.

Signage is up around campus promoting hygiene measures and hand sanitiser is available in many building entrances and high-traffic areas.

Face masks

Melbourne Polytechnic strongly recommends that you wear a face mask if you have COVID-19 or if you are a household contact or when physical distancing is not possible.

Students undertaking training or placements in industries that have mandated face mask requirements, will need to follow the directives of their employer/provider.

Visit the Victorian Government website for the latest information on face mask requirements.
