Issue Four: Swimming in the Dark by Lynda Bennett

fast turn around

I was literally swimming alone in the dark one night, when the words of this poem came to me. It is an analogy for my life at the time, and maybe yours.

About the Writer:

Lynda Bennett is happily spreading her writing and publishing wings later in life. Having been a chick, made her own nest in Sydney and fledged her youngsters, she is flying free. Her new and exciting family nest is in semi rural Eltham, Melbourne. In 2009 she and co-author Trish Stewart published What Can I Do? – information for Australian Seniors, with Hachette Australia. Since coming to NMIT, she has had a short story for the Café Mat series and this poem Swimming in the Dark published in INfusion 48. She has recently self-published her latest book SHA’HALLAAN’S TRUTH, which she hopes will be the first of many to be published by her new company LyndaBennett Publishing. Venturing into the audio field is an important step forward in being able to assist other authors to realise their dreams. To inform, inspire, and intrigue is her mantra for both her writing and publishing aspirations.
