Melbourne Polytechnic is hosting a weekly series of creative-based discussions through our Talking Heads program.
The sessions aim to provide students and the general public alike with an insight into creatively inspired careers and stories – an insight from seasoned and successful professionals who have made their mark in the creative arts industry.
To coincide with Talking Heads sessions, Job Slam on 15 October at the Prahran Campus, a series of workshops for students to find out ‘what next?’ after they finish their studies. The day will include resume writing, priceless interview techniques and industry key note speakers to give you the essential tools and skills to enter the workforce.
All session will have invaluable insights into the creative industries, including:
- Mike Lewis – Head of Broadcast Operations at Network 10
- Colleen Hewett – Renowned singer and actor, a career in the spotlight
- Guy Gowan, 30+ years as a professional photographer*
There are 11 sessions in total, with all events free. Please check the list of events below, no booking required.
*Please note: Guy Gowan session will be held in Melbourne Polytechnic Lecture Theatre (ME206) at 6.30pm – 9.30pm, 30 July 2014
