Melbourne Polytechnic (formerly NMIT) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced teachers for a short course Electric Guitar and bass Making 1.  The course takes students through the process of making an electric solid-body Guitar or Bass guitar (20 week program).  See link for course details

  • Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.
  • The teaching will occur at the Heidelberg Campus.

Applicants must hold the following:

1. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) is preferred.

2. A current Working with Children Check

Payment rates:

$61.88 per hour for casual teaching - Certificate IV TAE qualified

$64.31 per hour for casual teaching - Diploma of VET Practice qualified
