About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to appoint a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Consortium Convenor.

Your primary objectives will be:

  • This position assists with the development, implementation of governance and communication frameworks for the VATC management group
  • Assist the contract manager in providing reports and support services to the VATC management group

About You:

The successful applicant will have:

Key Technical Competencies

  • An approved qualification preferably in business management, information, financial or administrative systems.
  • Demonstrated capacity to implement governance structures to manage contractual outputs in a large contract with government or other agency. 
  • Demonstrated high level of organisational skills together with highly effective networking, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Qualification, Licenses and Experience

  • The successful candidate will have at least two years relevant experience in a consortium coordination role.
  • Communication skills in Australian Sign Language (Auslan) would be an advantage, as would be a willingness to enrol in a Certificate II in Auslan.

The salary will be $54,245 - $56,737 (A06.1 - AO6.3) per rata, per annum plus superannuation contribution.
