Gain the required industry qualification
In the Certificate IV in Property Services, you’ll learn how the industry operates, legislation, listing, sales and property management.
On completion of the course, you’ll meet the industry requirements for commencing work as an Agent’s Representative, as you must provide a Statement of Attainment showing you hold the required educational qualification.
If you’re eligible under the industry criteria, your employer will give you written permission to act on his or her behalf as an Agent’s Representative. For details of eligibility and employment as an Agent’s Representative, please contact the Business Licensing Authority on 1300 135 452 before enrolling in the course.
You’ll be able to work under the supervision of a licensed estate agent in roles such as:

Entrance RequirementsStudents must have:
- command of both written and spoken English
- documentation and research skills
- computer skills for web, word processing, presentations and email
MaterialsMost stationery materials will be provided in the classroom. You’ll be advised of any prescribed textbooks at the time of enrolment and you should know there is a fee of $135 to be paid at enrolment - includes cost of a Kit, handed out at course commencement.
Pathways to further studyAfter achieving the three units from the CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate), you may undertake further units to complete the full qualification.
