This entry level program will develop your business skills in the specialised area of legal administration. Learn the practical skills and knowledge required for administrative tasks, including:

  • producing texts from audio transcription
  • producing legal documents
  • producing business documents

Entrance Requirements

There are no mandatory requirements for entry to this course. You are expected to possess the underpinning skills and have an educational level that will enable the achievement of the objectives. You may wish to consider completing the Certificate II in Business to develop these underpinning skills

Assessment Methods

Assessment will be a combination of tests, practical exercises, case studies, demonstrations, observations, role plays and assignments


Textbooks will need to be purchase, with further details available at enrolment. Teaching staff will provide additional materials. You should have access to a computer. Computers are available in our computer labs and library if you do not have a computer at home.

Successful completion of this course will enable you to enrol in the Certificate IV in Business and/or the Diploma of Business
